Frequently Asked Question
Why every business needs a website?
A website is a powerful tool that any business can use to improve its visibility, branding and online presence. In addition, a website can help your business attract new customers and create more leads. For these reasons, every business should have a website.
How does the payment process work?
We have made the payment process simpler and more affordable. At the beginning of the project, the customer will have to pay a 50% deposit. 25% will be collected after we finalize the design with the customer and before entering the programming stage of the site. The rest 25% is collected once we complete our work on the site and before launching.
When do I pay?
For most projects, equal payments are made at the start, midway, and the end of the project, but we can work with you to set up a schedule that meets your needs. We understand that this is a big investment and want to help you budget for the expense in whatever way possible. We accept checks, PayPal, and all major credit cards.
What is SEO?
Search Engine Optimisation is the practice of using on-page and off-page tweaks and tactics to ensure that your page ranks higher on search engines. An example of one of these tactics is making sure that this blog is a minimum of 1000 words because that’s what Google prefers. Read our blog, ‘What is On-Page SEO?’ to learn more!
What do you need from us?
Usually, business documents like personas and branding style guides directly relate to logo design. If you have any special documents like marketing reports, those might be useful too. Ask your designer what would be useful to them.
Will you help me update my website which is built by another web development company?
Unfortunately no. We are extremely sorry that we cannot help you update your existing website which is built by another web development company. We only support websites that are completely created by us. We stand by this policy because there are issues of liability while multiple programmers work on the same code time and again.
What if I need help on my site down the road?
We are only an email away! We’re here to help you as much or as little as you need, and we won’t disappear once the site is launched. We’ve been doing this for many years, so we aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
What is digital marketing?
Digital marketing is any kind of marketing that is geared towards smartphones, laptops, tablets and basically any other device that is capable of connecting to Wi-Fi. Traditional marketing will focus on radio, TV, print and film, whereas when it comes to digital marketing we want to be thinking about apps, websites, blogs, social media, email and online content.
What are keywords?
Keywords are the words and phrases that searchers use- usually on a search engine. These are the words that we use when looking for pages, images, videos, blogs, any kind of information or content on the web really. These keywords need to be strategically inserted into your pages and content.
How is copyright handled?
This is another common point of contention that’s best addressed early on. Make it clear who owns the logo design or individual rights. It’s best to cement these issues sooner rather than later. On 99designs for example, each designer owns the copyright to their designs until they are declared a contest winner by a client. Then the rights to the winning design are transferred over to the client.
